Interlude Programs
Interlude offers three programs for men and women over 18 who have mental illness or mental illness with a substance abuse disorder.

Each program is specifically tailored to the needs of our clients, ranging from a more intensive level of staff support to a less intensive level. The goal – independent and fulfilling lives in the community. |
The Intensive Residential Support Program
Located in an agency-owned condominium complex, The Intensive Residential Support program provides 24-hour onsite staffing and case management services to ten clients with psychiatric disorders.
Eligible individuals are in need of medication monitoring and money management, assistance with daily living skills (including personal hygiene, housekeeping, cooking and basic nutrition) and referrals for mental health, medical, and vocational services.
Clients share three-bedroom condominium units with private bathrooms and common living, kitchen, and dining areas. For more information, please call (203) 797-1201. [more...]
The Intensive Residential Recovery Program
The Intensive Residential Recovery program serves seven men and women diagnosed with a primary psychiatric disorder and an active substance abuse disorder. 24-hour onsite staffing is available. Clinical services include alcohol and substance abuse treatment through individual and group counseling.
Case management services include medication monitoring, money management, assistance with daily living skills, referrals for mental health, medical, and vocational services. Residential rehabilitation also includes pre-vocational opportunities on and offsite.
Clients of this program reside in a five-bedroom house and an attached two-bedroom condominium unit. The house offers private and shared living areas and bathrooms, a common kitchen and dining area, and a group/recreational meeting room. For more information, please call (203) 743-1599. [more...]
The Outreach Program
The Outreach Program provides Case management services to 24 men and women with psychiatric disorders living in the Danbury and New Milford areas. Clients live in agency-owned and leased properties and in client-leased apartments.
This less intensive level of service offers clients case management services including medication monitoring, money management, assistance with daily living skills, and referrals for mental health, medical, and vocational services.
